Deep Dark is a WIP concept game.
I am working on a paid commission for 8 underwater creatures, which will act as the direction for the rest of the game.
Creature 1 - Necrocetus
(Necro (death) + cetus (whale))
Thumbnail designs for a concept already given of a creature of death, with a skull head and a whale body. Client chose B approach.
By merging the skeletal framework of a bipedal human with the anatomy of a quadrupedal whale, I forged a creature that feels eerily unified—an approach that, I've found, heightens the horror in unexpected ways.
Further developments - requested for more spine showing, more tendons around the neck, and to push the emaciation.
